DAVE LANDRY • Art Director
As part of Mission Control’s art department I love the challenge of thinking analytically about our clients and executing designs that win elections. For more than 15 years I have worked in both print and digital mediums on both coasts for more varied kinds of clients than I will bore you with. Even with all that experience and history it’s still a challenge to stay fresh in an every changing advertising landscape.
So I try to keep it simple and follow the following philosophy:
• Know the rules of good design – use them to strategically get results
• Strength in design lies in understanding each projects challenges and and solving them with practicality and creativity
• See the strengths in your colleagues, learn from them and enjoy being part of a great team
The following quote from one of my favorite designers sums it all up nicely.
“Design is the method of putting form and content together. Design, just as art, has multiple definitions, there is no single definition. Design can be art. Design can be aesthetics. Design is so simple, that’s why it is so complicated.” -- Paul Rand
STEPHANIE GASTON • Graphic Designer
