Valerie is an accomplished political writer from Akron, Ohio. An appointee of the Obama Administration, Valerie served as the Deputy White House Liaison to four Secretaries of Defense and Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary of the Army. She is an award-winning screenwriter and stand-up comedian published in McSweeney’s and Slackjaw. She also enjoys swimming and rooting for the Cleveland Cavs.
